Auto Repair in Duluth, GA

Duluth, GA

The city of Duluth, GA, is a suburb of Atlanta located in Gwinnett County, north of Interstate 85 next to Johns Creek. Duluth covers a land area of 10 square miles, home to a population approaching 30,000 people under the motto, “Pride in Old and New.”

The original settlement of Howell’s Crossing was renamed Duluth in 1871 after the funding of a new railroad line. History has it the town was named as a joke after Duluth, Minnesota, when a congressman made fun of the name. The new city was officially chartered in 1876, and Duluth elected Georgia’s first female mayor in 1922. Today the community is home to Hudgens Center for the Arts, the Red Clay Theater, and the agricultural manufacturer AGCO. Duluth was once named the “Best Affordable Suburb in Georgia.”
